at the Park Cities YMCA

Choices, choices, choices!  Whether you are exploring a fitness program for the first time, looking for a special exercise class, contemplating a personal trainer, or searching for age-appropriate lectures and trips, the Park Cities YMCA has something for you! Our staff can provide you with a free one-time orientation of our weight room, to familiarize you with the exercise equipment.  Or we can direct you to an exciting Zumba Latin dance class or an Arthritis Foundation specialty class.  With over 95 group exercise classes, including those for active older adults, you will find a variety from which to choose.

Personal Training
As a member of the Park Cities YMCA, you have the benefit of working with a friendly, knowledgeable and certified Personal Trainer.  Our objective is to create a partnership with you to set realistic and achievable goals, and to design a program that will allow you to attain them.  You will receive the most current and safest fitness training methods, along with the motivation you need to maximize your exercise time and achieve your personal best!  Sessions are one hour.

Complimentary Fitness Orientation
Make an appointment at the Welcome Center with a member of our Fitness Staff to learn what exercises will help you achieve your Fitness goals and how to properly use cardio and weight equipment.

Family Fitness
What better way to spend time with your family than working out together, either in the fitness center or taking a class.  Healthy lifelong habits start at a young age, and we encourage all families to participate in our specialty classes designed just for them.  We will be offering Family Yoga, Family Cycling, and other special classes. Be sure to check the group exercise schedule for class dates and times.

Family Cycling: A great non-impact cardio workout on a stationary bike.  Kids must be able to fit on the bike.
