This program is designed to offer age-appropriate exercise classes to improve quality of life. From low impact to arthritis classes on land and water, we offer a variety of classes that address both health and social issues we face as we age. We offer volunteer opportunities, trips, informal lectures, educational sessions and fantastic pot-luck lunches to guarantee to keep you busy even after retirement. Call Lana Denson, Active Older Adults Fitness Coordinator for more details. Look for the flyer, "Places To Go and Things to Know" to get information on upcoming field trips or in house activities for the older, but young at heart.
Our classes at the Park Cities YMCA include: Low Impact Aerobics, Arthritis Aquatics, A.F.E.P. (Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program), Gentle Yoga and more.
